William G. Salmond
William G. Salmond’s trusted reputation in the practice of law is reinforced by over thirty years of experience in litigation and defense work.
His office in College Park, Maryland provides a full-service litigation based law practice, specializing in civil, education, and family law. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Salmond also provides criminal and traffic defenses to his clients.
He represents clients throughout the State of Maryland, with primary appearances in the Courts of Prince George’s, Montgomery, Howard, and Anne Arundel Counties. He is member of both state and county bar associations.
Mr. Salmond was awarded his Masters of Arts and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Maryland. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Penn State University.
Early in his career, Mr. Salmond represented clients in consumer protection cases as counsel for the Legal Aid Office in Baltimore City. He created legal service programs at the University of Maryland College Park and Baltimore County Campuses. He has vast and unparalleled experience in handling university legal concerns and problems including dismissals, housing terminations, suspensions, and university hearings. He also represents and defends students with pending court cases.
Mr. Salmond is the author of several consumer publications addressing tenant rights, and small claims court and has made a number of television appearances. He is committed to excellence in service, honesty with clients, and integrity in pursuing justice to protect clients’ rights.
